New pattern book features interestingly-shaped afghans

BERNE, Ind. -- DRG, a leader in the craft and nostalgia markets, has released a new crochet pattern book under its well-known Annie's Attic brand.

Shaped Afghans includes patterns for creating six afghans made with worsted weight yarn. Designs include spiral, tapestry crochet, motif, star ripple and pineapple in sizes that range from 41 to 64 inches in diameter.

The book is full color, with 28 pages of step-by-step instruction. It sells for $8.95 and is available from the Annie's Attic catalog, accessible online at AnniesAttic.com.

Connie Ellison is the book's editor. She is the crochet product development director for DRG's Annie's Attic-brand products and originally started with the company in 1977. She oversees all DRG crochet pattern leaflets and crochet hardcover books, in addition to merchandising the Annie's Attic direct mail catalog crochet products. She is a member of the Crochet Guild of America and lives in East Texas.
