BERNE, Ind. -- DRG, a leader in the craft and nostalgia markets, announces the release of a spring newsstand special issue of its popular Crochet World magazine.

Scrap Crochet! is a 116-page magazine with more than 50 garment, accessory and toy patterns suitable for men, women and children. Projects are divided into five categories, with patterns written in skill levels that range from easy through experienced.

Designs are created to use small amounts of left-over yarn, with afghan patterns that call for a combination of yarns.

The magazine retails for $9.99 and is available on newsstands nationwide.

Connie Ellison is the editor of the spring 2012 newsstand special. She is the crochet product development director for DRG's Annie's Attic brand products and originally started with the company in 1977. She oversees all DRG crochet pattern leaflets and crochet hardcover books, in addition to merchandising the Annie's Attic direct mail catalog crochet products. She is a member of the Crochet Guild of America, and lives in East Texas.

Regular issues of Crochet World are available on newsstands and from the magazine website at Crochet-World.com.

Information about the variety of books, magazines, patterns, kits and catalog items available from DRG is accessible from the company website at DRGnetwork.com.

DRG products are produced under the following leading consumer brands: House of White Birches, Annie's Attic, American School of Needlework, Clotilde and Good Old Days.

Crochet World is published under DRG's House of White Birches brand.
