Crochet! spring newsstand special now available

BERNE, Ind. -- DRG, a leader in the craft and nostalgia markets, has released a newsstand special issue of its Crochet! magazine, with more than 60 projects that require no needle assembly.

Easy, No-Sew Crochet is a 116-page magazine that features a variety of crochet patterns in every skill level. It includes patterns for creating women's apparel, accessory items, home accents, gifts and baby items.

In addition to dozens of patterns with step-by-step instructions, the magazine has a stitch abbreviations guide and illustrations for creating basic crochet stitches. Additional crochet information and instruction is available from the Crochet! magazine website at CrochetMagazine.com.

Carol Alexander, editor of the special edition, is the executive crochet editor for all DRG crochet publications. She manages DRG's various newsletters and works with the company's catalog and Web development departments maintaining yarn and pattern information for the Annie's Attic website.

Alexander joined DRG as a crochet editor in 2002, and previous to that, worked 15 years as a professional crochet designer. She is an active member of the Crochet Guild of America, where she has served on the board of directors for several years.
