BERNE, Ind. -- Annie's, a leader in the craft and nostalgia markets, has created a 48-page pattern book for knitters titled Knit a Dozen Plus Slippers.

The book begins with general instructions for sizing slippers and for completing special techniques, with easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions for creating slippers for fall and winter. Patterns are written at the easy through intermediate skill levels.

The book is available from the Annie's catalog, accessible online at the catalog website at AnniesCatalog.com.

Amy Polcyn is the slipper designer. She has been designing professionally since 2005, and her work regularly appears in major knitting magazines and in yarn company pattern collections. In addition to designing, Polcyn works as a technical editor for yarn companies, magazines and independent designers.

Annie's publishes high-quality needlecraft publications and craft patterns known for exceptional instructional accuracy and clarity, and for brilliant, creative photography. Every book includes a stitch guide and a list of abbreviations to assist needlecrafters at every experience level in creating the book's projects.

Knitters can visit the Annie's website at Annies-Publishing.com for information about additional books, magazines, pattern booklets and kits.
