Plastic canvas patterns in seaside themes

BERNE, Ind.--The Needlecraft Shop, a nationally known brand of DRG, has released two plastic canvas pattern books that feature a seaside theme. By the Sea and Seaside Magnets each retail for $7.95.

By the Sea includes 16 beginner plastic canvas projects that use a variety of traditional plastic canvas stitches and patterns. There are refrigerator magnets, doilies, a mobile, a coaster set and a tissue topper.

Seaside Magnets features 25 plastic canvas magnet patterns. Project titles include Sandpiper, Stone Lighthouse, Ship in a Bottle, Beach Scene and Nautilus Shell. Each beginner skill-level pattern includes a set of step-by-step instructions and a color key.

The Needlecraft Shop is a prime source for plastic canvas, crochet and cross-stitch books and pattern booklets. The company was formed in 1986 and became part of the DRG family of brands in 1994.
