BERNE, Ind.--DRG has launched an online subscription offer for a digitally formatted version of Quilter's World magazine. The new Web-accessible magazine issue is the first digitally formatted DRG magazine. In the coming months, the company will offer all of its remaining magazines in a digitally formatted version, bringing to nine the total number of Web-accessible digital magazines available by online subscription.

Digital magazine publishing is a relatively new publishing format, offering readers the advantage of instant Internet access to the latest edition of available publications. Subscribers can quickly locate and read the most current news and feature articles, zoom in on photos, diagrams and texts, and archive information on their personal computer.

With the new Quilter's World digital site subscription, readers can build a quilting library for pennies per pattern without the cost of driving to the store or paying for shipping. The first issue is available immediately upon subscribing, with access to two years of archived editions of the magazine in a full color, flip-a-zine format. Order forms for the digital version are available at Digital.Quilters-World.com.

In late 2007, DRG formatted Quilter's World in a downloadable PDF format through the company's downloadable pattern site at e-PatternsCentral.com. As interest grew, other DRG needlecraft and paper craft magazines became available from the site, along with full size books, pattern books and individual patterns. The new digitally formatted edition adds another option for interested Internet readers.

DRG's printed version of Quilter's World launched in 2000 and is published six times a year by House of White Birches, a DRG brand. In all of its formats, the magazine features traditional and contemporary quilting designs. Every issue includes full-size quilt patterns and smaller projects, such as wall hangings and table runners. There are also articles about quilt designers and tips on techniques and quilting reviews.

DRG is a nationally known publisher of special interest books and magazines, with nine magazine titles sold nationwide in specialty shops, retail outlets and on newsstands.

Additional information about the new digital version of Quilter's World magazine is available from the magazine Web site at Quilters-World.com.
