DRG book highlights special crochet techniques and stitches
![]() |
Each chapter in Special Techniques & Stitches includes a different crochet style or technique -- from diagonal crochet and knit-look crochet to textured stitches, crochet basics and borders. With 176 pages of instructions and patterns, there are project ideas for needlecrafters at every skill level.
In the technique section of the book, crocheters can find traditional techniques such as Irish Crochet and non-traditional techniques like chain-free crochet. In the stitch section, there are shells and v-stitches, lace stitches, and ripple and Chevron stitches. Each chapter includes projects that demonstrate different techniques and examples of how certain stitches look when worked into a design.
The book includes a Getting Started section that contains diagrams and instructions for basic crochet stitches. In addition, each pattern includes a set of easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions, with patterns ranging from easy through advanced.
