BERNE, Ind. -- DRG, nationally-known publisher of special-interest magazines and books, recently released a new crochet pattern book filled with inspirational prayer shawl designs. Prayer Shawls 2 includes nine shawl patterns in a 32-page book that retails for $8.95.

Crocheters and knitters have been creating prayer shawls for years, with clubs and groups focused specifically on creating inspirational shawls to comfort those in need. Prayer Shawls 2 offers information regarding the purpose and focus of prayer shawls and includes a specific prayer and scripture verse for each of the nine shawl designs included in the book.

Projects are written at the beginner through intermediate skill levels, with detailed row-by-row instructions and special stitch illustrations. Shawl titles include Peace, Comfort, Healing, Friendship and Life.

Prayer Shawls 2 is published under DRG's Annie's Attic brand and is available from the Annie's Attic catalog Web site at AnniesAttic.com. It is also available from the DRG wholesale Web site at DRGWholesale.com.

Annie's Attic published its first needlecraft pattern in 1975 and quickly became one of America's premier sources for innovative and classic designs, especially in crochet. The first patterns were sold individually, but eventually were published in a catalog that also features key needlecraft supplies.

The goal of Annie's Attic is to publish a wide variety of high quality needlecraft publications and craft patterns in a number of special interest areas, with patterns known for exceptional instructional accuracy and clarity, and for brilliant, creative photography.

DRG also publishes magazines and books under The Needlecraft Shop, House of White Birches, American School of Needlework and Clotilde brands. The company produces special-interest consumer publications and related products that are sold direct through catalogs and the Internet and through wholesale and trade channels.

Crocheters can access DRG crochet and needlecraft products from the DRG Web site at DRGnetwork.com.
