BERNE, Ind.--The December 2006 issue of Annie's Favorite Crochet magazine features creative crochet projects for the home and for gift giving, with patterns from some of the nation's top crochet designers.

Annie's Favorite Crochet is a premier source for innovative and classic crochet designs. The magazine was launched in 1983 in a digest size that continues to appeal to traditional crocheters. It is known for its clear instructions and accompanying color photos, with pattern ideas for every season of the year.

"The December issue offers a variety of projects for decorating, gift giving and fashion apparel," said Brenda Stratton, editor. "There are several small items that can be completed quickly for last-minute occasions, as well as a nice variety of larger gifts to make for special people."

Featured projects include pearl accented ornaments, dainty, beaded purses and a brightly colored baby set, plus afghans and sweaters to warm the winter months.
