BIG SANDY, Texas--Strategic Fulfillment Group, a division of Dynamic Resource Group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Pytlak as its president and chief operating officer. Pytlak takes on the role Nov. 13.
Pytlak has held a number of key positions in the direct marketing field. Most recently, he served as vice president of marketing analytics and research for General Electric's Partnership Marketing Group. He led a team that served as proactive consultants for both internal and external business partners, providing actionable strategic marketing and analytical insights for driving business and channeling growth.
Previously, he was vice president of business development and database marketing for Reiman Publications. Pytlak held various positions while at Reiman, including director of E-commerce for the company's successful Internet efforts and leader of the database marketing and analysis team.
He began his career in the Chicago area, where he worked for Grainger, a Fortune 500 business-to-business marketer. His roles included financial and marketing systems and analysis, allowing him the opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the customer lifecycle in direct marketing.
"We were impressed with Tony's vision for the future, especially the strategic positioning of SFG as a marketing service company with a specialty in fulfillment," said David McKee, CEO of DRG. "Tony's leadership skills and strong background in database marketing are exactly what we need to take SFG to its next level."
"I'm excited about the opportunity to help establish SFG as an important fulfillment option and strategic marketing partner for magazines, continuities, books, catalogs and merchandise," said Pytlak.
"My experience at Reiman, a Reader's Digest company, gave me first-hand experience with how information collected through fulfillment and other operational systems can be integrated with a company's marketing plans and drive growth. SFG has a unique fulfillment platform and unified database that facilitate this type of marketing integration -- these assets give SFG's partners a competitive edge."
Pytlak holds a master's degree in applied mathematics from DePaul University in Chicago. He and his wife, Jeannette, have two daughters and are actively involved in a number of their children's school and extra-curricular activities.
