JOHN A. MUSELMAN 52, died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004, at 1:38 p.m. at Bluffton Regional Medical Center from complications of lung cancer.

John was treasurer of Dynamic Resource Group and served as president of Berne Tri-Weekly News.

In addition, John was extremely active in community service. He was past president of Caylor-Nickel Foundation and was on the board of directors of the Caylor- Nickel Medical Center, Bluffton, Indiana.

In August 2001, John was awarded prestigious membership in the Charles E. Caylor Founder's Society. He had also been involved in the Berne Rotary Club and Berne Jaycees, was a director of Swiss Heritage Society, and was Adams County United Way chairman in 2001.

He served as a member of the River Terrace Estates board of directors, Family Hospice of Northeast Indiana board of directors, United Way of Adams County board of directors, a member of the Berne Citizen's Sewage and Water Advisory Committee, and was the treasurer of the Lake Forest Village Property Association. He was also a member of the Sons of the American Legion, and a regular poll worker at Swiss Village.

He graduated from South Adams High School, Berne, Indiana, and following graduation attended Taylor University in Upland, Ind. for two years and then attended Indiana University in Bloomington. After college, he returned to work for EP Graphics, where he held a variety of positions over the years.

John was an avid sports fan who loved playing and following baseball, and was a regular at Indiana University basketball games. He loved to travel, golf, and ski and spend time with his Black Labrador, Murphy.

He was a member of First Missionary Church, Berne, and attended Living Water United Methodist Church, rural Adams County.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine; daughters, Lisa and Denise Fosnaugh; mother, Marilyn Muselman; brother Tom (wife Audrey); three nieces, Shannon, Kristen and Kaitlyn Muselman; and one nephew, Nathan.

His father, Carl Muselman, died in 2006. One brother, James H. Muselman, preceded him in death in 1973.

Funeral services were conducted on Friday, Oct. 8, at First Missionary Church in Berne with Rev. Kris McPherson, Rev. Ralph Klinker and Rev. Steve McPeek officiating.
